There is a sweetness to the fruit of the Spirit as we
repeatedly see the themes of gentleness and an even-tempered disposition. This
term “meekness” is no exception. It speaks to a mildness and a humility. It is
a tender reminder of the heart of our precious Savior.
Matthew 11:29(AMP) - Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me,
for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief
and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.
