Proverbs 20

Today, make sure to read Proverbs 20

A quick lesson to be learned from P20:

Verse 29 tells us that the glory of young men is their strength, but the splendor of old men is their gray hair. This verse points out that whatever stage we are in life, each has its advantages. Further, we can understand that it is not suitable for either one to despise or envy the other.
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12

“The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God. They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green, to declare that the Lord is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.” Psalm 92:12-15
Be encouraged. Wherever you are in life, the Lord can use you, and you will be an example to others of a godly life. You are never too young or too old.
