Proverbs 21

Today, make sure to read Proverbs 21

Lessons to be learned from P21:

God desires our obedience over our sacrifice.
The wicked produce and enjoy sin.

Sober thought brings profit while haste brings loss.
Wealth gained through deception is a snare.

The wickedness of evil men is far-reaching.
Pay attention to the wise and you yourself will gain knowledge and wisdom.

The wicked will not go unnoticed or unpunished by the Lord.
The merciful will themselves obtain mercy.

When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.
Do not stray from the path of wise sensibility. Any other path brings destruction.

Indulging in all fleshly desires without moderation will lead to destruction.
Unrestrained passions can make for a contentious home.

Be wise. Prepare for the future. Don’t be given to fits of rage.
Guard your mouth. Your life will be better if you do so.

The lazy person is frustrated by the unmet cravings that result from his laziness.
