Proverbs 24

Today, make sure to read Proverbs 24

Lessons to be learned from P24:

The spirit is strengthened for spiritual work and spiritual warfare, by true wisdom.
A weak man thinks wisdom is too high for him, therefore he will take no pains for it. – MH

In times of trouble, we are prone to despair.
We are to come to the aid of those who are headed in the wrong direction. Do not neglect this duty and try to give the excuse of ignorance. There is one who weighs the heart, who knows truth, and will repay accordingly.

Wisdom is as sweet as honey straight from the honey comb. Go after it!
The unrighteous seek to destroy the righteous. But while the righteous may be knocked down seven times, they will rise again.

It is our duty to honor and hold our Creator in the highest esteem. We are also to subject ourselves to the government He has placed over us.
Tend to the needs of your home. Set your necessities in order before concerning yourself with the conveniences of life.

“A nap here, a nap there, a day off here, a day off there, sit back, take it easy—do you know what comes next? Just this: You can look forward to a dirt-poor life, with poverty as your permanent houseguest!” (vss 33&34 MSG)
