Proverbs 5

Today, make sure to read Proverbs 5

Lessons to be learned from P5:

Discretion is part of the fruit of wisdom.
We are not to be led astray by adulterous temptations. The result is bitterness, pain, and death.

When we hate discipline and resist correction, we can be assured of a few things: we will lose honor, we will lose our wealth and all of our hard work will end up benefiting someone else, and we will regret our choice against disciplined living. We will, one day, come to the realization that our arrogance cost us all that was truly important.
Be pleased and filled with the blessings that the Lord has given you. Resist the temptation to covet what others have and to neglect what you’ve been blessed with.

Be intoxicated with the love of your life—not the one whom God has not given to you as a companion.
Remember that the Lord sees all that we do.

Do not let a lack of discipline be your downfall.
